Welcome to Average Armchair Economists, a show about economics, markets, geopolitics, technology, and the increasingly messy places where all of those things collide. We are not professors, central bankers, or cable-news pundits. We are two people who spend an unreasonable amount of time reading, debating, and trying to understand what is actually driving the economy and markets. Each episode, we will take a handful of major stories, dig into the data behind them, challenge the popular narratives, and argue about what they could mean next. The goal is not to pretend we have all the answers. It is to ask better questions, separate facts from opinions, and hopefully leave all of us a little less confused than when we started.
